iGoogle vs Windows Skydrive

Upload all three tab and table assignments (from Wed. May 18) to both your iGoogle and Skydrive.  Look at the document with leader tabs and the document with the table.  Compare and contrast iGoogle and Skydrive.  What differences do you notice?  Do you prefer one over another?  Why?

  1. When you use iGoogle it changes the format of your work while when you use skydrive it stays the same. I prefer to use skydrive because it is simpler and doesn't change anything.

  2. The google docs got rid of the leader tab. I would rather use windows live because it doesnt change anything.

  6. I prefer to use windows skydrive, because it doesnt change anything. While using the google docs it changes the settings and the tabs that I set.

  7. I noticed a few differneces between the papers on iGoogle and Skydrive. The document still had all the dots leading to the numbers on Skydirve, but iGoogle did not show the dots. I prefer Skydive because it is all around easier to use and download documents.

  8. On google docs the leader tabs are not there, but on skydrive everything that you typed into the word documemnt (i.e the leader tabs) they are there. I'd perfer to use skydrive because it's a lot simpler and dosen't change anything.

  10. In iGoogle, the document is changed in that the leader tabs are no longer there. The documents look much more clean-cut on Skydrive which doesn't change anythig. iGoogle, however, alows for more changes to be made. I prefer Skydrive because it looks much nicer.

  11. I prefer using iGoogle because everything on there was just like I had typed in word. When I was usnig Skydrive the spacing was changed. Also iGoogle is over all better to use for me because im more familiar with it.

  12. When i uploaded them to iGoogle it messed them up and made it look weird. I thought I messed up at first. When i used Windows Skydrive it didn't change a thing. It looked a lot like word. One simular thing about the two would be you could edit your documents on both websites.

  13. I would prefer to use the sky drive because it is more simple and very easy to use. What is different is that the sky drive doesn't change anything while iGoogle takes out the leader tabs.

  14. Leader tabs are completely absent from Google Docs. The tables on Skydrive look slightly more smoothed than on iGoogle, and all formatting was maintained on SkyDrive because it is directly related to Office. I still prefer Google Docs, because it offers easy ways to "cloud compute" with others, and because it offers a more user-friendly experience.

  15. I perfer to use Skydrive over Google docs because on google docs when you upload a tab it messes up and you dont even see the tab. Skydrive skeeps everything the same and is much easier to use.

  17. For pg 307 on sky it looks the way we did it on word but for igoogle it is close together and is no the way its supposed to. Its also easier to edit on skydrive the way you need to. I prefer skydrive

  18. If your going to use igoogle its going to change the formate that your going to be using, although if your using the skydrive it won't change it would just stay the same. Bettween igoogle or skydrive i would prefer the skydrive because it's simple and very easy to use.

  19. I noticed that on IGoogle it doesn't show the the leader tabs but the SkyDrive does. I would rather use SkyDrive, because i showed everything I did on word but if was work with someone I would of used IGoogle.
