I learned that a lot of these problems could have prevented.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that if people thought that even something was wrong and knew that they were probly going to get get cought still did what they did.
No I didn't really notice any pattern, because they all the case were so different.
I thank that alot of people pick the same subject when they could of chose somthing different.

I learned that some of the presentations were on serious problems that could have easily been prevented. Some patterns that I noticed was that the prosecuted company used ethics that was easiest for them, and not consumers,and the employees behaved in the same manner. I thought that this project was very interesting.\

ReplyDeleteI learned that there is alot of corruption in business corporations. I think it's sad that alot of them only pledge to do the right thing or fix a problem because they get caught and want to save their sales.
2. Did you notice any patterns as far as management/company behavior with regard to Business Ethics?
Most companies vowed to fix the mistake after a bad incident was brought into light.
3. Did you notice any patterns as far as employee behavior?
Alot of employees act unethically when they think no one's watching or that they can get away with it.
4. Add any additional thoughts you may have.
As someone who works, I know that sometimes rules aren't followed to a T, but alot of rules are in place to maintain an ethical environment. Those rules are the ones that expecially need to be payed special attention to and followed consistantly.

The employees were all either doing something wrong or not doing something that they were supposed to do.

I learned that that alot of companies have problems I was surprised at how many companies had cases where they had to go to court. Also I didnt see many similarities in the cases except that maybe the people weren't clear on how to handle things or they knew they were doing something wrong but other then that not really. Personaly I found this project kind of confusing

1. I have learned that they are many problems that were silly and were 100 percent preventable.

1.) I have learned a lot according to all the various presentations that i have listened to, like a lot of things are preventable.
ReplyDelete2.) I noticed that a lot of the companies/ the people that worked with the product or something weren't really doing their job right.
3.) A lot of cases were different so thats why i didn't notice any pattern.
4.) Additional thoughts- well the people that were involved in some of the cases should of have thought of what to do before they did it.

1. I learned that some company's have accidents and that people can get in alot of trouble.

1. I learned how diversely companies can handle the ethical treatment of sensitive situations, and that oil gets spilled, very very often.
ReplyDelete2. The companies always try to make a Public Relation stunt to sweep the incident under the rug, usually by blaming employees.
3. Carelessness plays a large role in accidents.
4. Hindsight is 20/20 and even the most powerful companies aren't exempt from terrible disasters.

1. i learned that even though somethings arent illeagal, its still very wrong.
